The weekend of November 14 & 15 will see BTC hold the Australian Real Tennis Association Annual General Meeting and ARTA Tennis Challenge. Four person teams (similar to the Boomerang Cup that is held in Melbourne) will descend upon Ballarat from Hobart and Melbourne.
The ARTA AGM will be held at the Club on Saturday night, but BTC will be forming a four person team to take on teams from RMTC, Hobart, MCC and the Australian Womens Real Tennis Association. Matches will be played using the same format as Boomerang Cup matches – namely handicap doubles rubbers. The tennis component of the weekend will be played from 1pm-6pm on Saturday and 9am-2pm on Sunday. It should be a terrific weekend and a great opportunity to play some handicap doubles against a variety of opponents.
BTC members wishing to be part of our four person team should contact Brett at the Club or use the link provided below. Positions will be filled on a “first come – first served basis”- but priority will be given to those that can also attend the dinner.

A sit down dinner at BTC will be held on the Saturday night at 6.30pm. It will be catered for by Sails on the Lake and will be a three course affair. BTC members wishing to attend the dinner can reply via Brett in the Pro Shop – or once again, use the link below

Sunday morning at BTC will see festivities kick off with a “Presidents Breakfast” at 8.15am. Paul Williams will be taking control of the Club BBQ for all those that wish to “feed up” before Sunday’s play. Once again, contact Brett or use the link below to sign up.
