On a fine spring weekend (after a week of heavy rain), 16 BTC members competed in the Graeme Fowler sponsored handicap doubles event over both the Saturday and Sunday of October 15-16, 2022. Many thanks to Graeme & Kathy Fowler for the sponsorship and support – prizes were some lovely bottles of vin rouge, and they also put on delicious antipasto snacks on both days.
Thanks to Andrew for organising and marking – and also to members who joined in at short notice to fill out the board after a couple of players couldn’t make it. In friendly but lively handicap competition over the two days, the winning pairs were Lucinda Horrocks and Phil Roberts on the Saturday, and David Rhind and Patrick Sunter on the Sunday.
